I took these photos on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, a bastion of hipsterdom. The big green faces are painted on a couple of old wooden doors on Ludlow Street. I have no idea who painted them, or when, or why.

    Hi Anulla! Usually graffiti are anonymous, but these two deserved some ID… they manage tp put some beauty on the otherwise dirty doors!!
    I wonder what was the parrot saying when you took the picture…
    As far as cameras, can’t help a lot! I bought a Canon G9 last summer and am happy with it, but lar from being an expert… šŸ˜‰

    I love always graffiti everywhere it tells me nmore about the artist’s and their youth (citizins) a pitty that its temporarly art….
