Trees in Lights on Fifth Avenue

The building at 575 Fifth Avenue is undergoing renovations and the facade is shrouded in plywood painted blue. However, despite the lack of windows and doorways, those responsible for the location managed to find a way to add a bit of adornment for the holidays.

j’ai quitté NYC sous le brouillard et je le retrouve chez toi sous la neige. NYC est toujours une aussi belle (et envoutante) ville. Je te souhaite une bonne et heureuse année 2009.
I left NYC in the fog and I found home in the snow. NYC is still as beautiful (and haunting) city. I wish you a Happy New Year 2009.

A beautiful shot! The fact that they painted the construction plywood blue shows they’re trying to be good neighbors as they work on the site. Of course, this is Fifth Avenue we’re talking about.
